Letters to the editor
We love to receive letters, but not every letter will be published; the publication of letters is at the discretion of the online and print letters editors.
The deadline for the Byron Echo西甲下注 newspaper is noon Friday and letters longer than 200 words may be cut for the paper. However, longer letters are often published online before or after being published in the paper.

We welcome your submissions, comments and letters to the printed Byron Shire Echo and hope that conversations there will be courteous and constructive.
Any such comments, submissions or letters sent to the editor may be published in full. You are fully responsible for their content , for example with regard to your liability under defamation laws.
In general we may edit or refuse to publish:
• violent, obscene, profane, hateful, derogatory, sexist, homophobic or racist comments
• comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation
• comments that are deceitful or grossly inaccurate
• solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any commercial products or services
• repetitive comments on a topic
• comments that are part of an orchestrated campaign by an individual or group
